Who is Whole Moon?
We create plant beverages that deliver whole protein and a deliciously creamy taste. By blending together whole-roasted ingredients like soybeans, almonds, oats, and pistachios, we make something uniquely nutritious, fulfilling, and well-rounded. Something so irresistible, you won’t just want a full glass. You’ll want seconds.
What makes Whole Moon special?
Most non-dairy, plant-based milks lack nutrition and substance. They have a watery consistency, funky aftertaste, and questionable ingredients. We, on the other hand, are rooted in a unique roasting process that allows us to create tasty—and nutritious—beverages. They’re delicious enough to drink by the glassful, and contain the added nutritional benefits like whole protein, fiber, and antioxidants.
Are all Whole Moon products vegan?
Absolutely, all our products are plant-based and vegan.
Are all Whole Moon products gluten-free?
Yes, all of our products are entirely gluten-free.
Are all Whole Moon products non-GMO Certified?
We’re so glad you asked. Yes, all our products are Certified non-GMO.
What’s the deal with this “roasting process” I keep hearing about?
Our unique roasting process produces a creamy, irresistible taste. It’s what will keep you coming back for glass after glass.
Do you fortify your beverages with extra vitamins?
Nope. We don’t add anything extra from outside sources. We capture nutrients from whole ingredients instead.
What’s so great about whole soybeans? And what is whole protein?
As it happens, soybeans are one of the only plant foods that provide complete, or “whole” protein. That means that they contain all 9 essential amino acids the way animal protein often does. The soybean is rarely utilized in its whole form, so we are extremely proud to put it to good use as the base for all our beverages.
What in the world is okara?
Okara is the “soy pulp” that’s normally removed during modern processing practices—it’s also where most of the nutritional value of soybeans lies. That’s why we don’t waste any of it in our process.
Is the soybean a beneficial crop from an environmental standpoint?
You bet your bottom dollar, it is. Soybeans are the most abundant source of plant-based protein grown in the U.S. and around the world today. On average, soybeans can produce over 1,100 pounds of complete protein per acre, over twice as much protein per acre as wheat or rice. That’s why soybeans are the world’s most important source of a high quality, plant-based protein.
